When in the Chihuahuan Desert of West Texas, David often resides at Chinati Hot Springs, north of Ruidosa, Texas. He always stays at the little cottage named Las Palmas, pictured here.

El Paisano Hotel lobby, where David exhibits his paintings and the home of Greasewood Gallery where David will exhibit "Far West Texas Paintings 2020-2021" in November and December 2021 through January 2022.
Museum of the Big Bend, located on the campus of the Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. The museum was gifted one of David's paintings for its permanent collection in August of 2004. The piece is entitled Grapevine Hills Road and is an oil on paper from 2003.
