The paintings, which follow as you scroll down, comprise the above named exhibition, opening 19 November 2021 in Marfa, Texas at the Greasewood Gallery inside El Paisano Hotel in downtown Marfa. The exhibition will close on 31 January 2022.
Most of these paintings result from a week's trip to Chinati Hot Springs in March, 2021. During that week, I went out each day and began paintings directly on site. Others were composed in the studio after the trip from memory, imagination, and source photos.
